Powerful New Works

Lorenzo remains unchallenged when it comes to capturing the American bald eagle in bronze. As the sculptor of the Official American Bald Eagle, Lorenzo’s bronze eagles reside in The White House and Pershing Park, Washington, D.C. He also is the artist of the largest known eagle sculpture, “Skookum Hyak”, standing 33’ high at the entrance to the Cow Creek Tribe of the Umpqua Nation’s Seven Feather’s Casino & Resort in Canyonville, Oregon.

"Ultimate Power"

The battle continues between the evenly matched bull and bear. Which one will seize “ultimate power”? A wary, timid spectator trembles between the two, as enmeshed in the stakes as any player of the stock market. Cast your vote with Lorenzo.

"The Emperor"

The King of Beasts roars his disapproval at the challenger who dares to enter his territory. He twitches his tail and advances with a final warning. The powerful muscles ripple under his tawny hide as he prepares to defend his title once again.

"Desperation"

The great bull elks crashes through the brush of the forest with power and grace. He leaps desperately, seeking his freedom from the stealthy eye of predators, from the callous grip of gravity. The sunlight catches on the tips of his massive rack. In this stunning moment, he is captured by the eye of the artist.

"Supreme Combat"

Inspired by the “Battle at Bighorn” -- the golf match contested between top golfer Tiger Woods and Spain’s Sergio Garcia in Palm Desert, California-- Lorenzo has created an incredible new bighorn piece that showcases two bighorns battling on a record-breaking set of bighorns. Nature’s eternal struggle for survival of the fittest is captured powerfully in intricate detail. The use of bighorns as a base for the battle not only complements the design but also adds to the authenticity.

Like most of his artwork, Lorenzo’s bighorn sculptures are in high demand. Life-size versions dot the desert regions of Palm Springs and Palm Desert, including the Bighorn Golf Course where last year’s match was played. Golfers Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia both took home an original Lorenzo Ghiglieri bighorn bronze for their participation. Now it’s your turn. This limited edition masterpiece is available in bronze, silver and gold. Call now to reserve yours!

Lorenzo meets Dr. Robert Schuller and Mikhail Gorbachev at the Crystal Cathedral, California

Lorenzo and Mikhail Gorbachev exchange pleasantries at the Crystal Cathedral in
Orange Grove, CA.

Doctor Robert Schuller welcomed Lorenzo to the Crystal Cathedral in October, 2000. Lorenzo was among many distinguished visitors, including former premier of Russia, Mikhail Gorbachev, who gathered to discuss worldly concerns such as world peace and wildlife conservation.

Lorenzo’s relationship with Dr. Schuller extends back to the early 1990s when friend, Puddie Pitcock, presented the popular evangelist with his bronze version of The Seventh Day of Creation. This bronze has been proudly displayed in the lobby of the Crystal Cathedral ever since. Now Dr. Schuller has decided to add another Ghiglieri masterpiece to his extensive, historical collection of bronzes at the Cathedral.

Lorenzo’s Christ sculpture Is similar to the one soon taking residence in Dr. Schuller’s infamous garden of statuary art at the Crystal Cathedral. Working with Dr. Schuller, Lorenzo has made specific alterations that render the final version the only one of its kind in existence.

Bronze of Peace

In 1982, world leaders came together to celebrate the 800th anniversary of St. Francis and honor the former soldier as the symbol of peace in San Francisco. One incredibly gifted man took this idea and molded it into bronze. The result was “St. Francis of Assissi, Man of Peace”, an inspiring masterpiece that made its way into the hands and hearts of leaders from Rome and Moscow.

Lorenzo received the honor of presenting this magnificent bronze to Pope John Paul II in Rome and King Juan Carlos I in Spain, but was unable to meet with then premier of Russia, Mikhail Gorbachev, who was attending the San Francisco summit. Nineteen years later, Gorbachev finally met the famous artist, who had created and gifted him with this inspiring masterpiece, at Dr. Schuller’s Crystal Cathedral in California
